Tartous University launches an initiative to align student graduation projects with our center’s development projects.

As an advanced step considered the first of its kind in higher education, and to achieve the optimal investment of knowledge for effective community development on one hand, and integration among various disciplines across the applied faculties at Tartous University on the other, a preliminary meeting was held today at the Manufacturing and Scientific Consultancy Center. The meeting brought together follow-up and coordination officials from the Manufacturing and Scientific Consultancy Center, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Technical Engineering, the Faculty of Information and Communications Technology Engineering, and the Faculty of Architecture.

The participants discussed a draft proposal to align student graduation projects in practical faculties at Tartous University for the year 2026. This alignment aims to achieve interdisciplinary integration on one hand, and connection with the vision and framework of the Manufacturing and Scientific Consultancy Center (CISC) regarding the applied investment of knowledge on the other. This was pursued by debating the proposed themes for these projects to ensure optimal integration, thereby laying the groundwork for their practical investment within an integrated development plan. Furthermore, for the first time, periodic scientific tracking will be implemented for these projects in coordination with the respective faculty administrations and the center. Additionally, student performance evaluation indicators (KPIs) will be applied throughout the execution phases of these projects; the outcomes of these evaluations will determine the eligibility to transition toward more advanced applied research, as well as the feasibility of implementing their projects practically through the Manufacturing and Scientific Consultancy Center.
