Local community and scientific investment: The cornerstone of social peace.

A panel discussion entitled “Local Community and Scientific Investment: The Cornerstone of Social Peace” was held at the headquarters of the Manufacturing and Scientific Consultancy Center at the Faculty of Science, in cooperation with the Swar Organization for Women’s Protection and Empowerment and the Saudi Green Eco Company. At the beginning of the workshop, the center delivered a presentation outlining its operating mechanism and future vision. Subsequently, Ms. Nissan Babelli, Executive Director of the Swar Organization, explained the organization’s core concept, its key activities, and its operational policy.

Furthermore, Dr. Yassin Al-Ali, CEO of the Saudi Green Eco Company, provided a detailed explanation of the economic perspective regarding the development of targeted and goal-oriented projects. He presented numerous proofs on the importance of success and the feasibility of operating according to well-studied tools, enabling the center to achieve its vision based on specific priorities dictated by the current phase.

The workshop was attended by a number of researchers and academics from the universities of Tartous, Lattakia, and Homs, alongside postgraduate students and center members. All participants shared their perspectives and visions for effective collaboration and practical application between the local community and scientific investment. This aim seeks to serve the development of scientific research and its applied outcomes in cooperation with civil societies and economic institutions, ultimately leading to the center’s effective contribution to the development and building of modern Syria through participatory approaches that ensure achieving the universally desired goals. At the conclusion of the workshop, it was agreed to submit action plans and visions that guarantee effective cooperation to reach this objective.
