Our center unifies the visions of applied faculties and adds the Faculty of Tourism to the research integration plan.

Today, at the Manufacturing and Scientific Consultancy Center at the Faculty of Science, the follow-up and coordination committees between the center and the applied faculties at Tartous University wrapped up discussions on the draft of proposed projects according to the joint action plan for the year 2026. This aims to achieve integration among them and finalize the alignment of visions around a roadmap that ensures the highest degree of integration and connectivity, fostering the optimal investment of knowledge. During the meeting, the Faculties of Pharmacy, Science, and Information and Communications Technology Engineering presented their plans based on the previous meeting’s recommendations, proposing several modifications to the project titles to achieve the most effective cross-disciplinary integration.
Today’s session also witnessed the Faculty of Tourism joining the joint work protocol. The faculty presented its vision for integrating its projects with both the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Technical Engineering, across its various departments. This integration aims to develop tourism perspectives through a distinct approach that combines the historical footprint of the coastal environment with future visions based on sustainability concepts and modern technologies, creating a constructive foundation for tourism attraction. Furthermore, the meeting addressed the performance indicator protocols for students participating in graduation projects, which will be activated for the first time at the higher education level to ensure a real and factual evaluation of student researchers, alongside the scientific tracking protocol..
